Rick also has a supporting role in the anime series Kirby: Right Back at Ya!, where he has the ability to speak in full sentences and lives with other intelligent animals in a big oak tree in an ancient woodland. Along with Marx and Gooey becoming Dream Friends, Rick & Kine & Coo are also making their playable comeback as well.as one super character. He has a yellow beak and a white belly with purple feathers that form three stripes on it. Coo is an owl with purple feathers (gray in Kirbys Dream Land 3) that cover most of his body.

He has also shown up in cameo appearances more often than his two main counterparts Kine and Coo. Rick makes his most prominent appearances in Kirby's Dream Land 2, Kirby's Dream Land 3, and Kirby Star Allies, where he is a playable character (though always paired up with either Kirby, Gooey, or another Animal Friend). Coo does a spinning wind attack which doesnt affect Grizmo but it blows away Phan Phan and Box Boxer. He is then confronted by Peep, Grizmo then throws Peep which makes Kine and Coo confront him afterwards. Attack Potency/StrengthAble to carry Kirby long distances.
Grimzo then kicks Rick which sends him flying. Pairing up Rick with Kirby allows for a number of different methods of attack based on what Copy Ability the pink puffball has at a certain time, though these vary heavily in effectiveness. Rick refuses and instead hits Grizmo which doesnt seem to hurt him at all. He is distinguished by his orange and white fur, his beady eyes and whiskers, and his bulbous frame with two small feet to carry him and additionally Kirby when the two are paired up with each-other. Rick is a large hamster and one of Kirby's six Animal Friends, making his first appearance in Kirby's Dream Land 2.
